Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Allison Fry comes to the Rian Center following work with Boston’s Center for Educational Documentation as a Foreign Credential Evaluator where she assisted both immigrants and U.S. permanent residents in seeking paths to higher education. Prior to this, Allison interned with the U.S. Department of State for a year, where she worked with the Diplomat in Residence for the New England region as an Outreach and Recruitment coordinator. As the granddaughter of an Irish immigrant, Allison’s passions and interests lie in American and Anglo-Irish relations, education with an international emphasis, and women’s rights history in both the United States and Ireland. She graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston with her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a focus on Western European Politics and Culture and Women’s Rights. Outside of research, she has a great love for international travel, baseball (both Cleveland and Boston!), and her two Labrador retrievers, Finnegan and Stella.” Her photo is attached!
